“Dr. Roberto Treviño Peña has just published his new book, The Four Forces of Human Nature: A Unifying Theory.
The Four Forces of Human Nature is the first book to show how 4 brain structures—amygdala, thalamus, cerebral cortex, and insula—work together to either lead us up to a path of healthy living or down a path of affliction. These brain structures are important because they process, respectively, how we feel, reason, communicate, and perceive socio-environmental cues.
