Zumba

If you love to dance and want to have fun while working out, Zumba is a great choice of workout for you. Consisting of different classes for both children and adults, classes can range from high to low-intensity intervals that can help improve your cardiovascular fitness, balance, and more. These classes usually last 45 to 60 minutes group sessions. The session begins with a slow beat to help you warm up and low-intensity dance series for recovery and ends with a slow beat to help you cool down.

Types of Zumba  

Zumba Class

  • This class includes both dance and fitness moves that use international rhythms. The music is generally 70% Latin, and 30% comes from other types of music genres. The classes feature merengue, salsa, cha-cha, reggaeton, bachata, samba, Soca, hip-hop, Bellydance, and bhangra.  

Zumba Gold

  • Zumba gold creates classes to fit the needs of the participants, both adults and children, and those who are new to exercise. It helps individuals with physical limitations because the exercise fits the unique individual.

Zumbatomic Class

  • Zumbatonic is a class for children ages 4 to 12, it contains kid-friendly dance routines using music that is common to them (hip-hop, reggaeton, and cumbia). Additional games and activities keep children engaged and interested.  

Aqua Zumba

  • Aqua Zumba is a water dance exercise in the pool. It uses the same type of music and dance moves which provide participants with cardio and body toning benefits from the resistance of water. This type of exercise is good for individuals that are in need of low-impact exercise. 

Zumba Toning

  • Zumba toning is the combination of cardio moves with the addition of weight training. The weight training uses maraca dumbbells, which are light in weight.
